Rare Find – Brand New Period-Correct Sea-Doo SPI Upgrade Kit!
This is a genuine NOS (New Old Stock) OEM Sea-Doo SPI Upgrade Kit for first-generation Sea-Doo SP models. It’s brand new and period correct — perfect for your restoration or to add a unique factory upgrade to your ski. I’m 100% sure this was designed as an upgrade for the 1991–1992 Sea-Doo SP, and I’m 95% confident it will fit other first-gen SP models as well, since the vents, grips, and other details were the same across these years.
Finding new, untouched OEM upgrade kits from this era is nearly impossible now, making this an excellent opportunity if you want to complete your build with authentic parts, or get your hands on a collectors item. The Sea-Doo SP was Sea-Doos first model (after the 320 in the 60s) so this kit is ultra rare at this point.
I’m still on the fence about letting this kit go. My original plan was to upgrade my Dad’s 1990 SP, as it was his goal back in the day to upgrade it, but he never did. However, I just can’t bring myself to mess with the SP me and my Dad have. I have this childhood vision of how it looked, and while this upgrade would look mega in blue, I’ve decided to stay with the original black.
I’ll probably regret letting this kit go, as I’ve never seen another since!
