So I finally found one, my dream Seadoo XPDI. It took 3 years to find, its a one owner from new, 2003 BARN FIND. The XPDI model is iconic and this video talks through the history of the Seadoo XP and documents the dream come true of buying one of these XPDI's, a now rare classic ski...it's 16 years old.
First ride out on the XPDI, this was a long time coming. It was a childhood dream to get my hands on an XP. In this video I see if it lived up to expectations. This is the first ride in the sea, and let’s just say... it is quick!
I managed to bag myself exclusive use of the whole of West Country Water Park lake! It was a great day of riding, with perfect conditions to ride and capture some ace footage. The XPDI is a great jetski but takes confidence to throw it around, once you do though, boy does this ski corner like a bullet! 🏁

They only ever made the XP in red for 2 years 2003 & 2004, that's across all 4 generations of XP... so if you're talking stock red XP... the 4th gen is rare.
The XPDI was the first Seadoo (first ski period to be fair) that I saw as a kid, I saw it in the 2003 dealer brochure and it was etched in to my mind ever since!
The final 4th gen XP was only made for 2 years using the direct injection platform. Whilst the DI gets a lot of hate, it was the early foundation of what was to come!
This example is a 1 owner from new with only 32 hours on it... it was literally showroom condition when I found it.
