It’s true! I did buy a brand new Seadoo Spark Trixx! But, and it’s and important but, my 2 strokes are going nowhere. This new series and new ski is about me experiencing first-hand, in an unbiased way, what the new gen Spark has to offer.
I’ve had countless YouTube comments, all asking why I did it, why did I buy a Spark and why did I buy a 4 stroke... Well in this video I cover everything, set the record straight and do a deep dive into the reasons why there is a Seadoo Spark TRIXX in the Classic Jetskis line up.
In this video you see me do the conversion and give a sneak preview of what’s to come in the next episode, ‘EP4’ where I put the newly converted 2up to the test at Tattershall lake.
I converted my 3up Seadoo Spark into a 2up for that ultimate playful ride, and it’s completely transformed my riding experience! I put it up against the legendary 1995 Seadoo XP (X4) – the undisputed king of 90s watercraft fun.
🚨 STOP! Before you take your Sea-Doo Spark Trixx for a spin, you NEED to watch this! Properly breaking in your machine is crucial for performance and longevity. In this video, I’ll show you the exact steps to ensure your Trixx is ready to unleash its full potential.
That brings us up to date and fittingly the latest addition to the fleet is a brand new Seadoo Spark Trixx, which takes me full circle and all the way up to date. The Spark is a ski I have had one eye on for many years, so when the 2021 Lava red came out, it was the perfect time to jump and buy new to compare what new gen has to offer.. I must say I’m loving it, it’s never going to be an XP, but its damn close!
Up until 2021 I hadn't seen a spark in a colour way that made me excited to own one, when I saw the Lava red and black, it for me was the closest thing I had seen to my beloved XPDI or GSX Ltd 1999.
Its not a XP but if you're talking modern day, the Spark is the closest there is, and there is a lot to like. They took a lot of what was great about the XP and built other areas.
Me and Megs wanted to start going further and longer with ride adventures and the spark offers a good balance between playful fun and a ski 2 people can ride for long rides!
I was always interested in the extended range VTS, the wheelies for the spark really is a USP that can't be ignored!
