This is an OEM Sea-Doo HX handlebar pad that will fit all three years, 1995–1997. This pad is in great condition with no material degradation and no major marks, just small signs of use. However, there is one small screw indentation on the top side. This part is no longer available from Sea-Doo.

About Part
This is an OEM used Sea-Doo HX handlebar pad that will fit all three years the HX was made, 1995–1997. The pad may fit other models and years, but please check part diagrams and fitment to be sure.
This pad is in great condition with no material degradation and no major marks, just small signs of use. However, there is one small screw indentation on the top side where the previous owner slightly over-tightened the securing screw. You can see the impression of the screw, but it has not pierced through. It isn’t hugely noticeable, but it is visible if you have a critical eye.
This pad was removed from my own 1996 Sea-Doo HX restoration. For context, I paid $250 for a NOS pad (yes, I’m that annoyingly picky guy), but even I thought, “Joe, do you really need to replace this?” because it truly is in great condition. I have priced this part to reflect the screw indentation while remaining realistic about the difficulty of finding clean pads where the material isn’t sticky or degraded.

Models these will match:
- Sea-Doo HX 1995–1997. This pad will fit all three years of HX, but only the 1996 and 1997 had a black pad. While this pad will fit the 1995, note that the 1995 was originally purple.
- Will also match and fit the 1999 Sea-Doo SPX, which featured the identical black pad as the 1996–1997 HX.
- This handlebar pad will probably fit other model and year Sea-Doos. For example, I know the Sea-Doo XP from around this time has identical fitment, so if you want a black pad for an X4 XP, I’m sure it would fit. That said, please double-check fitment on a parts diagram.
