Rare OEM NOS Sea-Doo SPX 1996–99 & XP 1993–1996 Cover. This cover, whilst labelled SPX, will fit any of the X4s, as the SPX was identical to the X4 XP. This cover has the iconic multicolour purple/red/yellow design, brand new in the original box, never used. I scored these direct from a dealer’s old stock, and genuine covers like this are impossible to find 30 years later, especially unused. 🔥 Rare OEM NOS SPX 1996-99 & XP-1993-1996-XP Cover — Brand New in Box 🔥
Guys, these never come up. We’re talking genuine OEM NOS Sea-Doo cover, 30 years later, still brand new, still in the original box. I scored 17 mint classic covers, including 2 of these X4 multicoloured covers. One I'm keeping for my 1998 SPX 787, and the other I’m reluctantly going to let go to be enjoyed by other enthusiasts. The 17 covers I scored was a once-in-a-lifetime haul when I bought a dream ski and cleared out the dealer stock. These came direct from a Sea-Doo dealer and have been sitting untouched, waiting for someone who actually cares about these old covers.
Anyone that knows the 90s knows the X4 hull was used on both the XP and the SPX. The top deck from 1993–1996 on the XP was the same as the top deck on the 1996–1999 SPX; as such, this epic cover will fit any of those years but is specifically labelled in this case for the SPX, as this multicolour design was a later 90s design versus the ocean blue design on the earlier XP covers. The benefit of this cover over the earlier XP covers is it features Vac-Hold, whereas the earlier XP covers used the under-hull clips. Fitment is the same, but Vac-Hold is the more modern cover tech from the 90s.
I’m on the fence about letting these go because once they’re gone, they’re gone. I know there are guys out there restoring SPX/XPs who want to keep them OEM and need this piece to finish their build right. If you’ve been searching, you know how impossible it is to find these unused.
Grab it while you can. Don’t be the guy who misses out and ends up paying triple on eBay later.
